Preventive Healthcare

Today's world presents us with many challenges and so we often only go to a doctor once we are ill.

Historically, this was different in China, as preventive medicine used to be an important part of day-to-day life and enjoyed the same recognition as the treatment of diseases. A family would retain the services of a doctor and pay him a monthly stipend – but cut off the money if someone in the family fell ill. The doctor’s function was less to cure than to prevent one falling ill in the first place.

In other words, TCM (or in today's language, preventive medicine) was used before the first signs of an impending illness.

I assess the patient's state of health based on their medical history and, where required, using modern diagnostic methods, such as:

  • Analysis of the body's ph values
  • Mineral deficiency and blood analysis
  • Analysis of the stool (faeces)

prepare an individual preventive healthcare concept which can be easily implemented on a day-to-day basis.
