Pain management

Pain can be caused by a number of factors, including physical injuries, working environment, family stress and genetic makeup.  This complexity means that a series of holistic naturopathic treatments can often be successful.

It is important to alleviate the pain as quickly as possible, in order to thwart its reoccurrence and prevent the development of chronic pain.  Chinese acupuncture and TCM can therefore play an effective non-pharmaceutical naturopathic role in pain management.

My experience has demonstrated that these treatments can be optimized by using micro-fine needles (“Meso Therapy”).  This procedure is very gentle, effective and almost free of side-effects. It uses individually tailored combinations of active substances (local anesthetics, homeopathic complex remedies, vitamins, minerals and other conventional medication), whereby extremely small doses are injected using micro-fine needles either:

·      Into the acupuncture points; or

·      Directly into the dermal layer above the area in which the pain is being treated.

The small depots deposited in the skin gradually release their active ingredients into the surrounding tissue, so that the pain and inflammation are treated directly and quickly, which reduces the recovery time significantly.  In addition, Meso Therapy benefits from having no unnecessary effect on the entire organism (e.g. stomach, intestines, liver and kidneys) and no loss of efficacy. This treatment is particularly effective in treating:

·      Chronic joint and spine conditions;

·      All kinds of arthritis;

·      Sports injuries, such as inflammation and cracks of the tendons (Achillodynia), pulled muscles, sprains and their long-term effects, bone and cartilage damage (meniscus damage), inflammation of the bone (osteomyelitis) and osteoarthritis

·      Headaches and migraines.
